Dr. Rhesa Houston - Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Rhesa Houston has a special interest in public health with a specific focus on the health and wellness benefits of the human-animal bond which led her to create Assistance Animal Consulting.
Devoted to young people, Rhesa spends much of her time motivating young audiences through her educational workshops in veterinary medicine; physiological, psychological and emotional health and wellness in relation to the human-animal bond; team building and leadership development in sports and athletics; and youth education and leadership development. Rhesa earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Piedmont College.
She lives with her three adopted children, Roxie, Chihuahua mix; Aila, domestic shorthair cat; and Tootsie domestic shorthair cat.
